Ο ΦΟΝΕΥΘΕΙΣ ΜΑΚΕΔΩΝ ΑΡΧΗΓΟΣ ΚΑΠΕΤΑΝ ΚΡΟΜΠΑΣ
Postcard of Greek origin from the 1910s. The fighter of the Macedonian struggle captain - Krobas is depicted. The captain has been photographed in full military gear, in an outdoor area probably in Macedonia. His real name was Marinos Lymberopoulos and he was born in 1875 in Mavromati, Messinia. He was an infantry lieutenant in the Greek Army. He was killed in action in 1905 in the village of Petalino in today's North Macedonia. Below the photo are the words:
